Change in Anna Univ Transcripts Issue Procedure

Many students who wanted to pursue Masters in US or foreign universities seek transcripts issue from Anna University. Now,Anna University has issued a notification regarding the change in the procedure of issue of transcripts to students of affiliated colleges of Anna University. As per the notification,

NOTIFICATION ON ISSUE OF TRANSCRIPTS


 There is a change of procedure in the issue of transcripts issued by Anna University Chennai from 4.7.2009. Before 4th July 2009, the transcripts were attested individually for mark sheets that are issued every semester for the students of Affiliated Colleges of Anna University Chennai by the Attesting Officers of Anna University Chennai. Now this procedure has been changed in which the mark sheets of all semesters of the students are printed on a single sheet that is duly signed by the Attesting Officers.


However, for the Constituent Colleges (University Departments) of Anna University Chennai viz, College of Engineering Guindy, Alagappa College of Technology, Madras Institute of Technology and School of Architecture and Planning, the previous procedure is still being followed by attesting the mark/grade sheets of every semester. The previous procedure is also followed for the Autonomous Colleges of Anna University Chennai viz, PSG College of Technology - Coimbatore, Government College of Technology - Coimbatore, Coimbatore Institute of Technology – Coimbatore, Thiagarajar College of Engineering – Madurai and Karunya Institute of Technology - Coimbatore.

Retotalling revaluation for TN 12th standard (+2)

Students who had got their results few days back can opt for revaluation or retotalling of their marks if they are not satisfied with the marks obtained by them. How to apply for these retotalling and revaluation and photocopies? The applications will be issued from 18 May to 21 May, 2009 at the office of Director of Government Examinations, Chief Education Office, District Education Office and Regional Directorate of Government Examination Office.
