Common Syllabus for Anna univ second year students

As per March 30th' 'The Hindu' newspaper, the four Anna universities have jointly prepared a common syllabus for the students of second year B.E in all the four constituent universities of Chennai,Coimbatore,Tirunelveli,and Madurai.This syllabus is planned to come into effect from the year 2009-10. The newspaper quoted Mr.Jawahar Mannar,

The common syllabus was prepared for 35 branches of engineering. The Academic Council of the four universities will pass the syllabus for implementation.

The decision to have uniformity in syllabus was taken at a meeting convened last year by Higher Education Secretary K. Ganesan, which was attended by Director of Technical Education and four Vice-Chancellors/ related officials.

Though the overall syllabus is common, each Anna University was given the option to offer a few elective papers, which, they think, were locally required for its student.They had to go in for uniformity in syllabus because it has been implemented already for first year engineering students.

    I hope the syllabus for upcoming batches has been revised, which includes Embedded systems(Theorey + Lab) as compulsory paper for ECE,CS, & IT. But where can I get this revised syllabus?

Retotalling revaluation for TN 12th standard (+2)

Students who had got their results few days back can opt for revaluation or retotalling of their marks if they are not satisfied with the marks obtained by them. How to apply for these retotalling and revaluation and photocopies? The applications will be issued from 18 May to 21 May, 2009 at the office of Director of Government Examinations, Chief Education Office, District Education Office and Regional Directorate of Government Examination Office.
