How to apply




1.Applications are filled in English / Hindi. Candidate must fill the application form in his/ her own handwriting. A recent identical passport size photograph is to be affixed in the space provided in the application By enclosing a non-refundable crossed Demand Draft or Poster Order (No fees for SC/ST/PWD candidates) drawn only in favour of ASSITANT SECRETARY,RAILWAY RECRUITMENT BOARD, Chennai payable at Chennai indicating on the reverse of the DD/PO,should write Employment Notice No, Name of Post,Category No.,Name & Address of Candidate.


2. Applications are in the prescribed format as enclosed (on a good quality A-4 size paper (80 GSM) using one side only) from eligible Indian Nationals for the above posts. The candidates Name, Address, Date of Birth, Father's Name, Near Railway Station etc. should be written in block letters. Applications complete in all respects along with required enclosures should be sent to 'The Assistant Secretary, Railway Recruitment Bord, 5, Dr.PV Cherian Crescent Road, Behind Ethiraj College, Egmore, Chennai-600008'



3. The envelope containing the application should be clearly super-scribed ' Application for the post of ________________________Category No.__________________ Employment Notice No.________________________ & Community (SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD/ Ex-SM)'. If the post and category number is not indicated on the top of the envelope containing application, the same will not be entertained.

Students who had got their results few days back can opt for revaluation or retotalling of their marks if they are not satisfied with the marks obtained by them. How to apply for these retotalling and revaluation and photocopies?
