Extension of maximum period for completion of B.E/B.Tech

13th Academic Council Meeting held on 20.12.2008,and was decided to provide extension for the students to complete their B.E/B.TECH courses

Several B.E. / B.Tech. students admitted during 2001 – 2002 and by lateral entry admission in 2002 -2003 have represented that the break away students to continue their studies in B.E. / B.Tech. on medical grounds as they have exceeded the maximum period of study as per the Regulations.
The special permission is granted for extension of time beyond the maximum permitted period of study. The students of Affiliated Colleges those who were admitted B.E. / B.Tech. Degree programmes during 2001 – 2002 and Lateral Entry during 2002-2003 yet to complete the programme within the stipulated maximum period are permitted to complete the remaining period of their study within 2 years (4 semesters) starting from January – May 2009 session onwards.
This is for your kind information and requested to take necessary action to inform the interested students accordingly so that the students may be in a position to complete their course of study.

Retotalling revaluation for TN 12th standard (+2)

Students who had got their results few days back can opt for revaluation or retotalling of their marks if they are not satisfied with the marks obtained by them. How to apply for these retotalling and revaluation and photocopies? The applications will be issued from 18 May to 21 May, 2009 at the office of Director of Government Examinations, Chief Education Office, District Education Office and Regional Directorate of Government Examination Office.
